Discounts - School Pupils, School Leavers and People for Whom Child Benefit is Still Payable
School pupils under 20 years of age for whom child benefit is still payable are not counted as resident for Council Tax purposes.
People under 20 years of age who leave school after 30 April will not be counted as a resident until 1 November of that year.
To apply for this discount please advise Revenue Services of:
- the name of the person
- their date of birth
- the place at which they are studying
- the course being studied
- the expected date of completion of their course
