Housing Strategy 2005 - 2008
This outlines our strategy for meeting the housing needs of local people in Bracknell Forest. It sets out our understanding of the challenges we face, and the ways in which we intend to work with our partners to meet these challenges.
Our previous strategy had four key aims:
- Providing for Bracknell Forest’s future needs and developing more affordable housing
- Building integrated communities, enhancing partnership working and social inclusion
- Enhancing the environment, building sustainable homes and encouraging innovation
- Maximising current resources and future investment
This document (available on the right) builds on the analysis and priorities set out in that strategy, and rolls over some of the key activities designed to deliver these aims.
The Housing Strategy is currently being redrafted. The new version will be available in October 2008.
