The transfer of housing from the Council to Bracknell Forest Homes took place on Monday 11 February. Bracknell Forest Homes is the new not-for-profit housing association set up to own and manage the 5,600 properties.
The transfer means tenants will benefit from £61 million major improvements to their homes and the housing service.

The Council retains a strategic housing function, which includes the housing register, waiting list and allocations.
In order to be considered for a home, the first thing you need to to is to get on the Council housing register. If you are succcessful, Bracknell Forest Homes housing association will then provide you with your home, collect your rent and do repairs.
