Private, Independent and Voluntary Sector Learning and Development

Welcome to PIV social care learning and workforce development.

Here you will find information about the training provided by Bracknell Forest Council to support social care providers in the private, independent and voluntary sector. Our goal is to provide organisations with a range of courses, qualifications and develoment opportunities to support staffin this important area.

The majority of courses are fully funded although some attract a small charge handsomely subsidised by government funding.

Lunch is normally provided on full day events

Who are these courses for?

To access these courses your organisation must either be based in Bracknell, have a social care contract with Bracknell Forset Council (including people in receipt of direct payment) or be able to demonstrate outcomes for Bracknell residents - subject to approval by the Learning and Development team.

How to book

  • Telephone or email bookings are accepted.
  • If your booking is successful you will be sent a confirmation letter within a few days and further details about two weeks before the event.

Venues

The venues used for learning events are all central to the Bracknell area and include amongst others;

  • Easthampstead Baptist church
  • Easthapstead Park Conference Centre
  • Priestwood Community Centre
