What You Must Do Next
Do not worry. We do not want to interfere in the private arrangements you make for the care of your child. However we must, by law, ensure that the arrangements are safe and that no harm will come to your child whilst in your care.
You must contact us if you are:
- A parent who has made a private fostering arrangement
- The person now caring for a child under such circumstances
- A social worker, a care professional, an education professional, a health professional or a council worker who is aware of any such arrangement
- Someone else who knows that such an arrangement is in place
- A local authority and have a privately fostered child moving from your area to Bracknell Forest
