The Oaks
The Oaks Children’s Centre is based on the site of Great Hollands Primary School and serves the communities of Great Hollands, Birch Hill and Hanworth.
The centre officially opened in March 2008 and supports children under 5 and their families and/or carers.
There are plenty of activities taking place at the centre already and much more on its way to soon. Sessions already available include:
- Breastfeeding Café on Mondays 2-4pm
- Baby Massage Courses (please call for more information)
- Bumps and Babies on Thursdays 10-12 noon
- Well Baby Clinic on Wednesdays 10-12pm
- Young Parents Drop In on Wednesdays 1-3pm
- Italian Kids Club meet on Thursdays 4-5.30pm
- Speech and Language Therapy Drop ins on Mondays 9-11:30
- Citizens Advice Bureau Information Session (appointments only) on Tuesdays 1.30-3pm
- The Oaks Drop In on Tuesdays 1.30-3.30pm
- Dads and Kids Saturday Group - first Saturday of the month 10-12 noon
- Chinese Group and a Polish Group (call for more information)
- Parenting Workshops (call for more information)
We also have stay and play sessions in the school holidays. Please come in or give us a call if you would like to find out more information.
