Information Sharing
Children's Services Partners across the Bracknell Forest Children's Trust and Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) have approved the use of an Information Sharing Protocol, which is designed to support the effective and timely sharing of information across partner agencies. The Protocol is designed to complement the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership Protocol.
This Information Sharing Protocol is also agreed and used across all six Berkshire Partnerships to provide a common foundation for some of our statutory functions, including child death information sharing functions and, where appropriate, lower level information sharing to support effective prevention and early intervention.
The DCSF has produced some guidance Information Sharing a Practitioners Guide to support more effective sharing of information and integrated working.
Additional information on information sharing can be accessed via Every Child Matters.
