Planets and Stars Show:
13 September 2008 - 4 January 2009
No need to stay up late, but come and stare at the stars in The Look Out Star Lab! A popular show lasting around 40 minutes. Take a trip through the solar system and listen to the stories of the stars. For further details please look at our Planets and Stars poster.
Winter Holiday Weekend:
6 and 7 December 2008
This winter holiday, why not come to The Look Out? You can visit Santa's grotto (10 am to 4 pm); pick up some wonderfully unusual presents for children and adults alike at our gift shop; get hands-on with over 80 exciting interactive science exhibits; marvel at the breathtaking Planets and Stars show, enjoy magic and high jinks with our children's entertainer, and get into the holiday spirit with our Fairytale Forest theme - even staff will be in fancy dress!"
Fire and Light Show:
17 January - 8 May 2009
This interactive science show is something different to do at The Look Out ! In addition to the main admission price to the hands-on science and nature exhibition, you can experience this show for only £1.75 per person.
The half hour show gives lots of interesting information about Fire and Light, such as, find out which creatures produce their own light, marvel at the tornado of fire and find out what a candle needs to keep burning.

Show times are at 11am, 12 noon, 2pm and 3.15pm, subject to minimum numbers.
