Horseshoe Lake Watersports Centre

Horseshoe Lake is a superbly resourced centre, provided by Bracknell Forest Council and managed by Freetime Leisure, an organisation that has been operating accredited watersports centres since 1988.
Located in a rural setting on the outskirts of Sandhurst, the 22 acre lake has purpose-built launching and changing facilities.
There is a purpose-built pavilion with changing rooms, showers, refreshments and lecture areas. A secure boat park offers storage facilities for individuals and groups adjacent to the slipway and launching area. The lake is situated alongside the River Blackwater, surrounded by scenic woodland and an attractive nature reserve.
The centre is dedicated to the concept of 'watersports for all'. Dinghy sailing, windsurfing, dragon boating, canoeing and raft building are among the activities taking place here.
Horseshoe Lake is dedicated to providing access to watersports for people of all ages and ability levels. We aim to reduce barriers to participation through quality instruction and simple booking procedures. There are no restrictive "club membership" schemes or complicated registration procedures.
First class equipment, wet suits and buoyancy aids are provided for all participants, but opportunities exist for individuals or groups who wish to bring their own craft to the centre for regular or casual sessions.
