Additional Info: Youthline Ltd provides a drop in service for young people aged 11 to 24. The service is free of charge. The counsellor is there to listen, care & provide a safe situation in which the client can work in confidence. It is advisable to ring for an appointment.
Training: Counsellor training is held once a year at Youthline through Reading College school of Arts and Design.
Projects:
Speak-Up - Anti Bullying line: Two mobile phones number are allocated for young people to text Youthline with any bullying problems they are experiencing. The messages are initially acknowleged and a trained counsellor will then make contact between the hours of 4pm and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Coming Clean - Drugs and Alcohol Awareness: Youthline can run small groups at schools and at Youthline on alcohol and drugs awareness.

Projects:
Youthlink - This projects aim is to extend the communication facilities at Youthline in ways that may encourage young people to contact the centre and make an appointment for Counselling.

Sexual Health Clinic and Young Persons Citizens Advice service available every Thursday 3.30pm - 5.30pm.
