Consumer Direct

Bracknell Forest Borough Council's Trading Standards team is now working in partnership with Consumer Direct, a Department of Trade and Industry supported initiative, to provide consumers with an improved Consumer Advice Service.

Consumer Direct is a telephone and on-line service providing clear, practical, impartial advice to help resolve problems and disagreements consumers may have with suppliers of goods or services.

From overcharging to faulty goods, from dodgy workmanship to reporting dishonest traders and scams, advisers are ready to help find solutions to individual problems.

Telephone lines are open:

  • Monday to Friday: 8.00 - 18.30
  • Saturday: 9.00 - 13.00
