Sustainable Resource Management Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)
The Sustainable Resource Management SPD provides additional guidance on the implementation of policies within the Bracknell Forest Borough Core Strategy Development Plan Document; specifically Core Strategy Policy CS10: Sustainable Resources and Core Strategy Policy CS12: Renewable Energy. The guidance sets out how new developments should be constructed in a sustainable way in order to meet local, regional and national best practice standards relating to natural resource use and climate change.
A draft Sustainable Resource Management SPD was issued for public consultation in November 2007 and all consultation responses were considered and appropriate changes made to the draft document. A summary of the responses and changes made as a result of representations can be downloaded below in the Statement of Representations.
A final version of the SPD was adopted by the Council’s Executive on 21 October 2008. The adopted SPD can be downloaded using the links below, along with the Adoption Statement, the Statement of Representations and the Sustainability Appraisal.
