Report an abandoned vehicle

If you would like to report an abandoned vehicle please use our Report an abandoned vehicle form.

The form takes about 10 minutes to complete and you can monitor your progress using the progress bar at the bottom of the screen.

Please note that this is an online form so you won't need to print anything off.

This form should not be used to report an untaxed vehicle unless it is also considered to be abandoned. Untaxed vehicles should be reported to the DVLA on 08000 325 202 or online using the DVLA's online form. Alternatively you can write or send a DVLA witness statement form to:
